EaseMyPrompt.ai, a product of Derek AI Labs believes that trust is built through transparency. This policy outlines how we operate openly and honestly with our users, creators, buyers, and the broader public.

2. How Our AI Works

2.1 What Derek Is

Derek is an AI-powered prompt engineering assistant built on large language model (LLM) technology. Derek helps users transform ideas into structured, optimised prompts. Derek is not a human. Interactions with Derek are AI-generated.

2.2 What Derek Cannot Do

Derek does not have real-time internet access, cannot take actions on your behalf outside the platform, cannot guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content, and cannot provide legal, medical, or financial advice.

2.3 Limitations

AI systems, including Derek, can produce inaccurate, biased, or unexpected outputs. We encourage users to review AI-generated prompts critically before use.

3. Marketplace Transparency

• All prompts in the marketplace are created by human creators unless explicitly labelled as AI-generated

• Creator identities are verified before payout eligibility is granted

• Ratings and reviews are from verified purchasers only

• Sponsored or featured listings are clearly labelled as such

• Our commission structure is disclosed clearly in creator agreements

• We do not manipulate search results for commercial benefit without disclosure

4. Content Moderation Transparency

We publish the following information about our content moderation practices:

• Our Acceptable Use Policy is publicly available

• We provide reasons for content removal decisions

• An appeals process exists for all moderation decisions

• We publish annual transparency reports covering content removals, government requests, and safety incidents

5. Government and Legal Requests

When we receive requests from government authorities or law enforcement:

• We scrutinise all requests for legal validity before complying

• We provide only the minimum data required to comply with a lawful order

• We notify affected users of requests unless legally prohibited from doing so

• We publish aggregate statistics on government requests in our annual transparency report

6. Data Use Transparency

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your private prompt conversations to train AI models without explicit consent. Usage analytics are collected in aggregate and anonymised form.

7. Financial Transparency for Creators

• Commission rates are clearly stated in creator agreements and on the platform

• Earnings dashboards show real-time sales data

• Payout schedules are published and adhered to

• Any changes to commission structures are communicated 30 days in advance

8. Annual Transparency Report

We commit to publishing an annual transparency report each year covering: number of content removals and reasons; government data requests received; safety incidents and resolutions; AI system updates and changes; and financial summary of creator earnings. The first report will cover the year ending 31 March 2027.
